This place is awesome! From the moment I walked in, I could smell the wood fire burning, which is a unique touch. The service was top-notch from beginning to end. The owner even stopped by our table and thanked us for stopping in. The whole staff was very attentive, especially our server Danielle. So the food...everything was so tasty and perfectly done. The crispy cauliflower is a must-try. If you love wedge salads, this is the place for you cuz it was one of the best I've ever had. The fish was huge and cooked perfectly, and the burger had that classic dressed burger with a little bit of char taste. The sides were very good too. As good as everything was, it would've been even better if I didn't go with my freeloading narc ex.

10/10. I don't even know where to start. The staff were all amazing! It was so welcoming. Started with the bacon flight which was delicious! Our drinks came super fast and perfectly made. I ordered the steak and it was cooked correctly. It melted in your mouth! The whole experience was great and everything was wonderful.

This is my second time coming to Craftsman and I can't wait for number three. Last time I was with my father who doesn't drink but we came in on a whim and sat at the bar for dinner. We had burgers, they were good, and I was very happy with the draft beer selection. Now I'm back, staying at the Craftsman Inn next door again but with a new group. Myself, my wife, my 2 year old, and 2 month old came in for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated a few minutes earlier than our reservation and immediately greeted by our server. We fired a kids pizza for my big guy and it was out within 5 minutes and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so nice and helpful, they gave my big guy crayons which was a huge hit. The wife had the salmon, I ordered the steak flight, we shared a hot honey and pepperoni pizza while waiting for our main course. We're from Long Island, we eat a lot of pizza, this thing was top notch. Main courses came, we were both extremely happy with our choices. The steak flight comes with 2 sides and I chose Brussel sprouts and the fingerling potatoes. The sprouts were unreal, the potatoes were good but I'd probably select something else next time. No complaints, just a preference. Drinks were and always are top notch, very happy!!!! Just wish it wasn't 5 hours from home.

We dined here and then came back twice to have drinks by their gorgeous fire pit. They have a great beer selection, wine selection, and cocktails were good. The food was best we found in the area. The burger was great. The truffle fries were very good. My son got a steak which was very good. The Cobb salad was just ok. The hot honey pepperoni pizza was very good. The bacon flight was just ok but something I'd say you have to try as it's a novel concept. Bacon seasoned three different ways and served with nice soaked slices. Pictures of the fire pit. Sorry I didn't take photos of the food!

I would like to start by saying the folks who gave a one review is out of their mind. My wife and I are from the Cooperstown area and traveled put this way for a business purchase. We asked the person we delt with where to have dinner as we where 2.5 hours from home and they recommend this place. Thank goodness they did. Our server, Tara, was very sweet and I never had to ask for a drink refill and she checked on us often. The manager Trevor was very personable and we had a nice chat. The food was phenomenal; I have dined in places up and down the east coast and all throughout New England and the Craftsman is right up there with the best of them. My wife and I have already made plans to make the long drive to try the other amazing options on the menu.

We went to the Craftsman years ago and decided to try it again for my recent birthday. Their happy hour caught our eye, and although some of the items were not included (due to not updating website), they did have a solid selection of food and drink. I ordered the Smash Burger and beer while my husband ordered a pasta dish with meatballs.with their house white wine. We were both impressed at the both the portions and quality of food. What really stood out was the service. Zariah was our server and when she wasn't asking how we were doing, others came over as well to see how our meal was. I don't remember receiving such service before, especially in a grille and tap house. We ended the meal splitting a churro cake which was recommended--a great finish! They made my birthday special and highly recommend going there. Can't wait to go back.
